Problems solved by technology

[0005] The purpose of the present invention is to overcome the deficiencies of the prior art, to design a steam heating pipeline for the cold protection of the ice area on the top of the ventilating mast of an LNG ship, and to solve the problem that the effect of the cold protection method of the electric heating is poor, and the venting cap on the top of the ventilating mast is still leaking. Problems with icing phenomena and heating cables that may be embrittled at low temperatures and cause electrical leakage

Abstract

The invention discloses a steam heating pipeline for cold protection for the top of exhaust masts of an LNG carrier in ice regions. The steam heating pipeline comprises pre-insulating pipes fixed to the outer wall of the exhaust masts through BHT pipe clamps, steam heating main pipes led from a marine daily steam pipeline, downspouts fixed at the bottom of funnel devices fixed inside exhaust capsand condensing pipes integrated in the pre-insulating pipes after running through the downspouts, wherein the steam heating main pipes are wrapped in the pre-insulating pipes; two heating branch pipesextend from the top of each steam heating main pipe; the heating branch pipes are laid along the inner wall of the exhaust caps to exhaust grilles at the top of the exhaust caps; and the heating branch pipes are laid from the exhaust grilles to the inner wall of the funnel devices. The steam heating pipeline for the cold protection for the top of the exhaust masts of the LNG carrier in the ice regions can prevent the exhaust caps at the top of the exhaust masts from being frozen by using the scheme of steam heating for the cold protection in the ice regions on the basis of not changing the prior structure of the exhaust masts, thereby enabling the exhaust masts to meet the requirement of cold protection in the ice regions, ensuring the safety of the LNG carrier and solving the problem ofcold protection in the ice regions.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of cold protection in ice regions of LNG carriers, in particular to a steam heating pipeline for cold protection in ice regions on the top of an LNG ship ventilating mast. Background technique [0002] During the design and construction of an LNG carrier, it is usually necessary to install a venting device (hereinafter referred to as "venting mast") specially for the liquid cargo tank and the insulation layer of the cargo tank on the LNG carrier. The venting mast is mainly used to discharge the natural gas or nitrogen discharged from the cargo tank safety valve or insulation layer safety valve. For LNG ships equipped with dual-fuel generators, the dangerous gas in the generator is also discharged through the venting mast. [0003] In view of the particularity of the ventilating mast top structure, for LNG ships that have ice navigation requirements, the ventilating mast top needs to take special ice cold pro...
