The calculation method plays an important role in improving of efficiency of intersection signal timing schemes, and in improving implementation effects of urban traffic control and operation efficiency of the whole traffic system. According to the invention, in the calculation of the lanes, the time headway and the saturation flow rate are used as important factors in determination of periods of signal timing; by differentiating weather factors like sunny days, rainy days and snowy days, based on a large number of history data, precise data calibration is performed on parameters; functions of big data are fully played in calibration of the parameters; and data basis is provided for precise scene type signal timing.
