Abstract

The invention discloses a method for searching a visible light image similar to an infrared image of electrical equipment. According to the method, firstly, the edge extraction is conducted on a visible light image in a visible light image library and a provided infrared image based on a line boundary gray-value edge detection algorithm, and then corresponding edge images are obtained. Secondly, according to the SURF operator-based image sensing hash algorithm, the perceptual hash coding operation is conducted on the visible light edge image and the infrared edge image. Thirdly, the hamming distance between the hash code of the infrared edge image and the hash code of the visible light edge image is calculated, and then a visible light edge image set minimum in hamming distance to the hashcode of the infrared edge image is obtained. Finally, images in the visible light edge image set are respectively matched with the infrared edge image based on SURF feature points. Moreover, matchingpoint pairs are screened based on the slope consistency, so that correct matching points are screened out. In this way, a visible light image corresponding to the visible light edge image and most matched with the infrared edge image in matching point is obtained. The obtained visible light image is the searching result of the searching method provided in the invention.
