Abstract

The invention provides an intact soil core collection device for determining soil volume weight of a marsh wetland and an application method of the intact soil core collection device and relates to the intact soil core collection device and the application method thereof, aiming at solving the problems of soil compaction in a current marsh wetland soil core collection process. The device providedby the invention comprises an acrylic cylinder, a cutting head part, a plunger piston and a rubber cap. According to the intact soil core collection device of the marsh wetland, provided by the invention, a rubber piston is combined with a sharp razor, so that plant root systems and organic residues, which are not completely decomposed, can be effectively cut in an inserting process. The transparent acrylic cylinder is visually inspected so that the position of the piston is effectively controlled through upward pulling a wooden T-shaped handle, and furthermore, a suction force is generated inthe acrylic cylinder. Finally, an undisturbed intact soil core of the marsh wetland is obtained and the compaction difficulty in an intact soil core collection process of the marsh wetland is completely solved; the device provided by the invention is simple to operate and low in cost and can be widely applied to sampling and research work of the intact soil core of the marsh wetland in China.
