Abstract

The invention provides a molecular marker for diagnosing and treating adenocarcinoma lung. Research indicates that in adenocarcinoma lung tissue blood vessels of human and mice, mRNA and protein levels of von Willebrand factor (vWF) are obviously increased. Through observation, the vWF in HUVECs is up-regulated by an A549 cell condition culture medium, which indicates that one or more factors secreted by the adenocarcinoma lung cells enable the vWF to be up-regulated. Experimental research indicates that a transcription factor GATA3 is a transcription factor which responds A549 cell secretionin the endothelial cells so as to increase +220 GATA locus bound to the vWF gene promoter and enhance the expression.
