The extraction andpreparation method includes two extraction steps and two column chromatographic steps, comprising: ethyl acetate extraction to remove impurities, extraction with an ethanol water solution to prepare verbascoside fluid extract, column chromatography through a macro-pore adsorption resin column to obtain a verbascoside crude extract, and column chromatography through reverse phase silica gel columnto obtain the high-purity verbascoside.
