The invention relates to a core plug locking device and a core plug locking method thereof. The core plug locking device comprises a retarder shell provided with a screw hole; a core plug has threadedconnection with the interior of the screw hole of the retarder shell in order to realize a blocking function; a sealing gasket is arranged between the retarder shell and the core plug; a position, bythe side of the screw hole, of the retarder shell and the core plug at a corresponding position are separately provided with a locking hole and a screw hole which communicate with each other; and thecore plug is fixedly arranged on the retarder shell by virtue of a screw which penetrates through the screw hole of the core plug and the locking hole of the retarder shell. The core plug locking method comprises the following steps: (1) connecting the retarder shell, the sealing gasket and the core plug by screw threads; and (2) after tightening the core plug, screwing the screw into a threadedhole of the core plug and the locking hole of the retarder shell in order to tighten the core plug so that the core plug cannot rotate in a radial direction.
