Abstract

The invention discloses a current clamping circuit. The current clamping circuit comprises a current source circuit, a current detection circuit and a feedback circuit. The current detection circuit comprises a transistor, a resistance circuit and a multiplexer. The transistor outputs a detected current signal; and the current of the current signal is equal to the current of the output signal provided by the current source circuit. The current of the current signal detected by the feedback circuit and the current of the output signal are limited below a threshold current by the feedback circuit. The multiplexer modifies the resistance of the resistance network based on a first control signal. When the transistor works separately in a linear zone and a saturated zone, a multiplexer circuitand the feedback circuit are programmed by using the first control signal and a second control signal so as to output the detected current signal accurately.
