The switching power supply comprises a pulse width modulation controller, an electrical signal generator and a field effect transistor, wherein the output pin of the electrical signal generator outputs voltage signals that vary periodically among multiple voltage ranges; the frequency pin of the pulsewidth modulation controller is connected with the output pin of the electrical signal generator to receive the voltage signals; the pulse width modulation controller outputs switching signals with predetermined frequency through an output pin according to the voltage range of the voltage signals received by the frequency pin; the gate pin of the field effect transistor is connected with the output pin of the pulse width modulation controller; and the source pin of the field effect transistor is grounded.
