The invention discloses a beam communication method, which comprises the steps that a base station/user equipment communicates with the opposite party by using a beam; whether the beam is abnormal ornot is judged; and the base station/user equipment uses a standby beam to communicate if the beam is abnormal. The invention further discloses a beam communication device. According to the invention,the beam communication method and device can give consideration to both anti-blocking performance and transmission performance, and realize anti-blocking beam communication with high performance and low delay.
