Abstract

The invention provides a method for determining window periods for the provenance removal of overwintering cyanobacteria in shallow lakes. The method is characterized in that the adopted cyanobacteriahas three key functional genes in the resuscitation process; the expressions of a phycocyanin synthesis gene (PC-IGS), a pseudo-empty cell synthesis gene (gvpC) and a cyanotoxin synthesis gene (mcyA)directly relate to activity recovery and floating of the cyanobacteria, so that the window periods capable of accurately reflecting the provenance removal of the overwintering cyanobacteria are established; the expression quantities of the three key genes in cells in the overwintering resuscitation of the cyanobacteria are determined by adopting a fluorescent quantitative PCR technology, and theresuscitation process of the water-blooming cyanobacteria with metabolic activity is determined, so that the window periods for the provenance removal of the cyanobacteria in different lake areas aredetermined.
