Abstract

The invention provides a message encryption and decryption method, and network equipment and system. The method comprises the following steps: negotiating in advance by first network equipment and second network equipment to determine an original key; generating a sub-key set by the first network equipment by using the original key, then determining a sub-key from the sub-key set; performing encryption processing by using the sub-key and a first field of a serial number of a data message generated by the sub-key, thereby generating an encrypted field; using the encrypted field to replace the first field of the serial number by the first network equipment, and then obtaining a modified data message; and transmitting the modified data message to the second network equipment. Since the serialnumber in the data message is encrypted, an attacker cannot decrypt to obtain an original serial number even if the data packet is intercepted, thereby effectively preventing the problem of replay attacks.
