Under the condition of a phase-failure fault, a time-varying sine-type non-fault phase reference current and a middle line current reference under a three-phase static coordinate system can be converted to two DC components under a novel synchronous rotation coordinate system by designing a novel reference coordinate conversion matrix, and the two DC components are equal to a current given value of a motor system. On the basis of novel coordinate conversion, a complicated current controller is not needed to be designed by a motor control system after a motor phase-failure fault, a current PI controller before the fault can be directly used for motor control, so thatthe fault-tolerant control of the surface-mount permanent-magnet synchronous motor under the phase-failure fault is achieved.
