Embodiment Construction

[0034] The invention relates to an intelligent node (1, figure 1 ), used with other nodes to compose such as figure 2 The distributed grid network shown in (8).

[0035]In some embodiments, an intelligent node (1) includes a computer hardware architecture and a small footprint (10 to 300 megabytes) software stack (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) with Low resource consumption. The architecture is hardened (not shown), X86 type or ARM Raspberry or MIPS type, energy efficient and resistant to severe environmental conditions (shocks and vibrations, temperatures from -40°C to +80°C).

[0036] Smart nodes (1) will conform to a microservice type architecture. An intelligent node (1) contains a backbone around which a node manager is built. The node manager is programmed to dynamically activate a series or set of functions in the following categories as needed:

[0037] Acquisition capability and instrumentation capability (e.g., in Modbus, or physical signals)

Abstract

The invention relates to a smart node for a distributed mesh network, each node allowing two-way communication with other nodes or a central platform, and each node comprising a Linux or Linux-compatible computer hardware architecture and a software stack having a small footprint and low consumption of resources, using an object-oriented programming language to implement, by execution on the hardware architecture, the deployment of multiple nodes by neighbourhood and critical mass effect, each node being iso-functional and capable of communicating with its neighbour, storing and managing an object, and receiving an execute statement from a program of another node in the mesh, said program associating a node-specific identifier and a neighbourhood identifier with the communication module ofeach node.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an intelligent node for a distributed mesh network, and more particularly to its use in the fields of storage, distributed processing and development of big data. Background technique [0002] Industrial production lines often include multiple steps involving various actors or entities. Each participant generates data, and this data is usually managed locally. For example, in the case of water treatment processes and utilization of resources from treatment, wastewater treatment plants control industrial processes locally using local practices and operating experience of the site under consideration (monitoring, control). At the data level, the site (factory) develops in isolation from, and in particular has no interface at, the regional (district) or global (network and national resources) level. [0003] However, bringing together these various information resources (local, regional and global) is necessary as they w...
