Abstract

The cursor motor comprises a primary core; an armature winding is arranged in each open slot of the primary core; and the same sides of the armature windings are provided with primary permanent magnets with a uniform magnetization direction; and the magnetization direction of the permanent magnets is parallel to the direction of movement of the primary core, thereby forming a first alternating pole permanent magnet excitation array. The cursor motor also comprises a secondary core arranged parallel to the primary core at an interval and located on the slot side the primary core. The primary core and the secondary core can move relative to each other. The secondary core is provided with a plurality of open slots at intervals relative to the surface of the primary core, and secondary permanent magnets are arranged in the open slots. The magnetization direction of the secondary permanent magnets is perpendicular to the direction of movement of the primary core, thereby forming a second alternating pole permanent magnet excitation array; and the first and second alternating pole permanent magnet excitation arrays are matched in terms of magnetization direction.
