The system comprises: a two-dimensional code band which is adhered tothe top of a track on one side of a multifunctional lifting sliding plate; a reading head which is arranged on the multifunctional lifting sliding plate, is positioned right above the two-dimensionalcode band, and is used for shooting the two-dimensional code band and scanning the two-dimensional code in the shot image; and a vehicle-mounted controller which is used for controlling the reading head to obtain the two-dimensional code information and determining the position of the reading head. According to the invention, the two-dimensional code is attached to the upper end surface of the track at one side of the multifunctional lifting slide plate; the two-dimensional codes on different assembly line tracks are positioned in the same horizontal plane; therefore, the position informationof the multifunctional lifting sliding plate during transverse and longitudinal operation is positioned and monitored in real time, and the two-dimensional code two-way positioning system has the advantages of being convenient to install, economical, practical, high in positioning precision and high in redundancy error correction performance, adapts to the influence of various severe environments,allows larger mechanical deviation and remarkably improves the flexibility and intelligence level of the multifunctional lifting sliding plate.
