Abstract

The microneedle device according to the present invention comprises: a substrate, a microneedle disposed on the substrate, and a coating formed on the microneedle, the coating containing dexmedetomidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and isoproterenol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Using said microneedle device results in a rapid increase in plasma dexmedetomidine concentration following application of the microneedle device.
