Abstract

The invention discloses a related SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) marker of tomato soluble solids. The SNP marker is positioned at a basic group C or T at a 37559435bp position of a sixth chromosome of a tomato genome. The invention further discloses an assisted breeding method of a dCAPS (derived cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence) molecular marker for rapid identification or assisted identification of the tomato soluble solids. An SNP site serves as a dCAPS marker for identifying the content of the tomato soluble solids, and the marker is named as BR1-dCAPS marker. The invention further provides a rapid identification or assisted identification method of the content of the tomato soluble solids. SNP marker detection of a tomato to be detected is implemented, so that identification or assisted identification of the content of the tomato soluble solids is achieved. The molecular marker is applied to related breeding and assisted breeding of the content of the tomato soluble solids, the tomato soluble solids with different contents can be rapidly screened, the influence of environmental factors on phenotype identification is avoided, breeding cycles are greatly shortened, and the method serves as a rapid, effective and advanced breeding means.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the fields of genetic engineering and molecular biology, in particular to a dCAPS marker for rapid identification or auxiliary identification of tomato soluble solids and its application. Background technique [0002] Tomato soluble solids are mainly composed of nutrients such as soluble sugars and organic acids. Tomato soluble solids are an important index to measure the quality and yield of tomato fruit. The level of soluble solids directly affects the flavor quality of tomatoes. For processed tomatoes, every 1% increase in soluble solids is equivalent to a 25% increase in total yield. At the same time, soluble solids play an important role in plant stress resistance. Tomato is a self-pollinating crop. After long-term selection and domestication, the genetic background of tomato cultivated populations has become narrower and narrower. It is difficult to achieve great results in the study of soluble solids traits using existi...
