Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid antenna with a reconfigurable directional diagram. The liquid antenna comprises a liquid monopole, a liquid reflecting surface, a grounding plate and a feed structure.The feed structure of the antenna is realized by adopting a coaxial probe with a metal disc loaded at the top end. Each of the liquid monopole and the liquid reflecting surface is composed of a transparent liquid container and saturated salt water. The directional diagram of the antenna can be reconstructed by injecting saline water into a specific position of the liquid reflecting surface to form different liquid reflecting surfaces. According to the invention, the transparency, the liquid property and the fluidity of water are utilized, so that directional diagram reconfiguration of the antenna can be achieved, and the total efficiency of the antenna can reach 60% or more in a working frequency band.
