Abstract

The invention discloses an edge collaborative storage method for the real-time data processing application in a heterogeneous edge environment. The method comprises the following steps of firstly, determining a neighbor server set; then, calculating the storage benefit of the model data corresponding to each application relative to the cloud for all edge servers, generating an initial storage benefit matrix, wherein the storage benefit is mainly reflected in time delay reduction; searching a storage candidate scheme with the maximum storage benefit from the storage benefit matrix; if the corresponding edge server has enough space to accommodate the model data, storing and updating the residual storage space of the edge server and the storage benefits of other model data influenced by the storage operation; otherwise, setting the benefit value to be infinitely small, and not considering the storage candidate scheme any more; and repeating the two steps until the storage spaces of all the edge servers are not enough to accommodate new model data.
