The circuit is connected in parallel with a receiving end converter station and then connected to a direct current transmission line. The circuit comprises a main resistor and a plurality of controllable unloading modules, wherein the main resistor and the plurality of controllable unloading modules are sequentially connected in series; the main resistor is used for providing main power for energy consumption of the energy control circuit; and the controllable unloading module is used for circuit voltage division. According to the scheme, the connection or disconnection of the controllable unloading module in the energy control circuit can be directly controlled tocontrol the energy consumption of the direct current line, and the control process is simple; besides, voltage division processing can be performed on the voltage of the direct-current line under thecondition in which the direct-current line is high in voltage by controlling the controllable unloading module to be connected or disconnected, so that the problem of damage to electrical elements ofthe energy control circuit caused by overhigh voltage can be avoided. The simple control method realizes the effects of voltage regulation and voltage division of the energy control circuit, and saves the occupied space of the circuit.
