The piston and connecting rod assembly comprises a piston and a connecting rod; the piston comprises a top, a head and a pin seat which isused for being connected with the connecting rod; the connecting rod is provided with a pin hole used for being connected with the piston and a skirt portion which is disposed on the outer side of the pin hole and used for being in matched connection with a cylinder sleeve; the outer side wall of the skirt portion is a curved surface; and the circle center of a spherical surface where the curvedsurface is located coincides with the axial center of the pin hole. The skirt portion is arranged on the connecting rod, and through the arrangement mode, the problem of difficulty of complicated all-steel piston forming can be solved; during movement of the connecting rod, the skirt portion on the connecting rod is in line contact with the cylinder sleeve all the time, the contact area of the skirt portion and the cylinder sleeve is remarkably reduced while the skirt portion plays a role of guiding, thus the power loss caused by friction is greatly reduced, and the burning efficiency is improved; and besides, the skirt portion on the connecting rod is in line contact with the cylinder sleeve, the smaller fit clearance can be designed, thus an oil film can be conveniently formed between the skirt portion and the cylinder sleeve, and the risk of cylinder scoring is lowered.
