Abstract

A C-band planar MIMO antenna based on an interdigital coupling structure comprises a rectangular dielectric substrate. A metal grounding plate is arranged on a lower surface of the rectangular dielectric substrate. The dielectric substrate is provided with two antenna units which are in mirror symmetry state. Each antenna unit comprises a feed metal arm arranged on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate. A tail end of the feed metal arm is connected with a horizontal metal arm. The tail end of the horizontal metal arm is connected with the interdigital coupling structure. The interdigital coupling structure is composed of an even number of vertical metal arms and two horizontal metal arms which are distributed at equal intervals. The odd number of vertical metal arms are connected with the upper horizontal metal arm, the even number of vertical metal arms are connected with the lower horizontal metal arm, another horizontal metal arm and the vertical metal arm are arranged on alower surface of the dielectric substrate, the horizontal metal arms are connected with the interdigital coupling structure through metal via holes, and the vertical metal arms are connected with themetal grounding plate. In the invention, high isolation exists between ports of the two antenna units, and a working frequency band of each antenna unit is relatively wide.
