[0031] 2. Preparation of coating solution A: Dissolve 50 g of chitosan in 5 L of distilled water containing 1% (wt%) acetic acid. After stirring to complete dissolution, the pH of the chitosan solution was adjusted to 6.0 with 0.1M NaOH, and then 2% (wt%) clove essential oil and 0.1% (wt%) Tween 80 were added, and stirred for one hour.

[0032] 3. Preparation of coating solution B: Dissolve 50 g of gum arabic in 5 L of distilled water containing 1% (wt%) acetic acid. Then, 2% (wt%) of cinnamon essential oil and 0.1% (wt%) of Tween 80 were added and stirred for one hour.

[0033] 4. The apple fruit is first immersed in coating solution A for 0.5-2 minutes, and then placed in the air for half an hour to ventilate to dry to obtain a single layer A coating fruit;

[0034] 5. Submerge the single-layer A-coated fruit in coating solution B for 0.5-2 minutes again, and then place it in the air for half an hour to ventilate to dry to obtain a double-coated fruit.

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of prevention and control of postharvest diseases of fruits, and concretely relates to a method and a formula for double-layer coating for inhibiting postharvest diseases of apples. The formula comprises a coating solution A and a coating solution B, wherein the coating solution A in a use state comprises 0.2-2.0 wt% of chitosan, 0.5-3.0 wt% of clove essential oil, 0.08-0.12 wt% of Tween 80, and the balance of formula distilled water, and the formula distilled water is distilled water containing 0.5-1 wt% of acetic acid; and the coating solution B in a use state comprises 0.5-2.0 wt% of Arabic gum, 0.5-2.0 wt% of cinnamon essential oil, 0.08-0.12 wt% of Tween 80, and the balance of the formula distilled water. The double-layer coating mode increases the retention rate of the cinnamon essential oil in a chitosan coating film, and significantly improves the inhibition effect of the chitosan coating on common fungal infection of picked apple fruits.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of prevention and control of postharvest fruit diseases, in particular to a double-layer coating method for inhibiting postharvest apple diseases and a formula thereof. Background technique [0002] The loss during storage of postharvest fruits caused by fungal pathogens is huge. Due to the adverse effects of synthetic fungicides on the environment and health, natural antibacterial substances derived from plants have attracted more and more attention. Plant-derived essential oils have become a promising alternative for controlling fungal pathogens due to their natural antibacterial activity. The strong flavor and volatility of essential oils determine that they are mainly incorporated into edible films and coatings in practical applications. [0003] As a positively charged polysaccharide, chitosan has been widely used in the preparation of edible coatings and films due to its good biocompatibility, strong film-f...
