According to the method, a roughening machining head, a preheating machining head and a fusion covering machining head are controlled to provide small circular, square and big circular laserspots to conduct synergic operation on the surface of the beryllium bronze roller, and fusion covering machining on iron-based powder on the surface of the beryllium bronze roller to implement preparation of the iron-based coating. Through laser roughening treatment, the roughness of the surface of the beryllium bronze workpiece is improved, and the absorbability of the beryllium bronze workpieceto laser energy is improved.
