Embodiment Construction

[0028] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. However, it should be noted that the following embodiments are only examples for helping to understand the technical solutions, and are not intended to limit the present invention.

[0029] figure 1 Shown is a schematic diagram of a network according to an embodiment of the present invention. Such as figure 1 As shown, network 100 includes controller 120 , IP network 140 and optical network 160 .

[0030] The controller 120 includes a multi-layer management module 122 , an IP domain management module 124 and an optical domain management module 126 . The three modules have multiple implementations. In some embodiments, the multi-layer management module 122, the IP domain management module 124 and the optical domain management module 126 may be three independent devices or software products. In this case, the controller 120 may be understood...

Abstract

The invention discloses a fault recovery method. The method comprises the following steps: a controller firstly determines that a first multilayer link passing through a first port on a first networkdevice fails, wherein the first multilayer link is a link in a link aggregation group between the first network device and a second network device; then, the controller releases the optical layer resources of the first multilayer link, and deletes the first multilayer link from the link aggregation group; and further, the controller establishes a second multilayer link for recovering the first multilayer link based on a first idle port on the first network device and a second idle port on a target network device, and adds the second multilayer link to a target link aggregation group between the first network device and the target network device. The fault link in the aggregation group can be recovered in a network comprising multiple layers through the method.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the communication field, and in particular to a method and controller for recovering faulty multi-layer links. Background technique [0002] Link aggregation is a method of bundling a group of physical interfaces together into one logical interface, which increases bandwidth and reliability. A logical link formed by bundling multiple physical links is called a Link Aggregation Group (Link Aggregation Group, LAG) or a trunk (Trunk). If these bundled links are all Ethernet links, the aggregation group is called an Ethernet link aggregation group, which can be abbreviated as Eth-Trunk. Multiple interfaces in -Trunk are called multiple member interfaces. An Eth-Trunk interface can be used as a common Ethernet interface. The only difference between it and a common Ethernet interface is that when forwarding, the Eth-Trunk needs to select one or more interfaces from many member interfaces for forwarding. Therefore, you ca...
