Abstract

The invention provides an air-cooled refrigerator and a sterilization control method thereof. A sterilization device is arranged in the air-cooled refrigerator and comprises a booster circuit and an ion generator which are connected through a connecting cable, wherein the booster circuit is controlled to operate in a shutdown mode, a high-voltage mode and a low-voltage mode; and the ion generatoris used for being excited by first voltage provided by the booster circuit in the high-voltage mode to be ionized so as to release sterilization ions and heating under second voltage provided by the booster circuit in the low-voltage mode so as to eliminate condensation. The control method further comprises the steps that a starting signal for triggering the sterilization device to be started is obtained; the booster circuit is controlled to operate in the mode that the shutdown mode, the high-voltage mode and the low-voltage mode are circularly alternated, and the number of cycles is counted;a shutdown signal for triggering the sterilization device to be shut down is obtained; and the booster circuit is controlled to be shut down, and the respective duration of the booster circuit working in each mode in the cycle period is reset according to the number of cycles so as to be used when the sterilization device is started next time.
