Abstract

The invention discloses a drilling fluid performance detection method and device, and belongs to the technical field of drilling. According to the method, the mass concentration and the weight-averagemolecular weight of the treating agent in the drilling fluid filtrate are respectively detected by utilizing an ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry and an ultracentrifugal sedimentation method, andthe performance of the drilling fluid is comprehensively judged by combining detection results of the two methods. The method specifically comprises the steps of obtaining a standard drilling fluid formula; obtaining a standard characteristic spectrum of each treating agent by utilizing a standard formula and an ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry; according to the actual absorbance of each treating agent in the target drilling fluid filtrate, comparing the standard characteristic spectrum, and determining the mass concentration of each treating agent in the target drilling fluid filtrate;measuring the weight-average molecular weight change condition of the treating agent in the filtrate of the target drilling fluid and the standard drilling fluid by using an ultracentrifugal sedimentation method; and based on the above, judging the target drilling fluid performance comprehensively. According to the method, the performance of the drilling fluid can be simply, reliably, accurately and effectively detected, and the most direct and reliable thought and method are provided for maintaining and treating the drilling fluid.
