Abstract

The invention discloses a hardware backdoor removing method for an IP solid core netlist, and the method comprises the steps: successfully finding a starting end of a hardware Trojan horse circuit, i.e., a Trojan horse starting mounting node, based on a directed graph model; then solidifying the initial mounting node, deleting the invalid logic unit, successfully cutting off the connection betweenthe Trojan circuit and the main circuit, and fixing the Trojan circuit in an untriggered state; and finally, propagating the solid-state signal backwards, and modifying the Trojan horse circuit layerby layer by using a method of eliminating redundant items by using a truth table. Compared with the netlist file before Trojan insertion, the hardware Trojan circuit can be successfully deleted, andthe normal function of the netlist cannot be influenced. The invention provides an effective method for repairing the netlist with the hardware backdoor, and the method has important significance in the aspect of reutilization after IP core fixing correction.
