Abstract

The invention discloses a hepatitis B virus X gene and application thereof. The X gene comprises an X gene sequence XXDFY. The X gene sequence XXDFY can be used for preoperatively judging the prognosis and liver regeneration condition of a progressive liver cancer patient after hepatectomy. After partial hepatectomy, the tumor-free survival rate and the overall survival rate of patients with livercancer carrying XXDFY subtype in peripheral blood are significantly higher than that of patients without XXDFY subtype.
