Problems solved by technology

However, it is impractical to ensure such precision by the interventionalist during clinical routine
In fact, the farther the viewing angle deviates from the right angle, the more perspective occurs, resulting in less accurate reconstruction of the length and radius of the vessels in the model
During vascular reconstruction, at least two perspectives are required for vascular reconstruction, which will bring additional interference to the interventionalist, which inevitably increases the clinical workload and burden

Embodiment Construction

[0026] The expressions "first image" and "second image" herein are only for distinguishing images, and are not intended to limit the number. In the various processes described herein, the order of steps shown in the drawings is only an example, and relevant steps can be flexibly executed in a different order than that shown in the illustrations without affecting the logical relationship of each step.

[0027] Figure 1a A flow chart of an image processing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is shown.

[0028] In step S1, the 3D centerline of the vascular tree is acquired. The "obtaining" of the 3D centerline of the vascular tree in step S1 includes directly obtaining a ready-made 3D centerline or extracting it through a series of processing on the first image. In some embodiments, the first image for extracting the 3D centerline of the vascular tree may be acquired by: computed tomography angiography (CTA), perfusion computed tomography (CTP), magnetic...

Abstract

The invention relates to an image processing method, an image processing apparatus, and a non-transitory computer readable medium. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a 3D center line of a blood vessel tree; obtaining a 2D center line and 2D blood vessel geometric information of the blood vessel tree; registering a 3D centerline of the blood vessel tree to a 2D centerline of the blood vessel tree; and based on a registration result, transferring the 2D blood vessel geometric information of each position on the 2D center line of the blood vessel tree to a corresponding position on the 3D center line of the blood vessel tree so as to construct a 3D model of the blood vessel tree. According to the method, when the fractional flow reserve (FFR) is calculated, the overall space information of the 3D image of the blood vessel tree and the blood vessel geometric information of the 2D image are combined, so that a more accurate 3D model of the blood vessel tree can be obtained.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application No. 62 / 851,067, filed May 21, 2019, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0003] The present disclosure relates to an image processing method, an image processing device, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium. Background technique [0004] Myocardial ischemia can occur when the heart is not getting enough blood flow due to coronary artery disease. Lesion information can be assessed by radiological techniques such as computed tomography angiography (CTA) or coronary angiography (CAG). In these techniques, a contrast agent is usually injected into the bloodstream while the image is being captured. The contrast agent highlights the luminal structure of coronary vessels, and medical image analysis can then be performed to quantify vessel geometry. Although these techniques provide means to visualize ve...
