Abstract

The invention provides a cultivation method of a clonal avocado rootstock. The cultivation method comprises the following steps: (1) cultivation of a nutrient rootstock; (2) grafting of a second rootstock; (3) yellowing treatment; (4) rooting of the second rootstock; and (5) separation and objective scion grafting. The cultivation method utilizes the secondary grafting technology to well solve theproblem of grafting between a rootstock with functions such as disease resistance, and an objective scion. In the method of the invention, the rooting efficiency of the rootstock with functions suchas disease resistance can be promoted by performing the yellowing treatment and cooperating with a rooting nutrient solution suspension bottle infusion method or atomized supply method. In the rootingstep, the second rootstock is subjected to 360 degree wave girdling, and the auxin promotion and a direct rooting or atomization rooting method are used to complete the rooting of the avocado rootstock and the large-scale transplanting of seedlings.
