Abstract

The millimeter wave antenna module comprises a plurality of antenna arrays which are used for receiving and transmitting antenna signals of a millimeter wave frequency band, wherein at least two antenna arrays are different in radiation direction angle; a switch module, which is connected with the plurality of antenna arrays to form a plurality of millimeter wave receiving and transmitting links, wherein the switch module is used for receiving a switching instruction, and switching and conducting the millimeterwave receiving and transmitting link where at least one antenna array is located according to the switching instruction so as to enable the antenna array of the millimeter wave receiving and transmitting link to perform beam scanning. Switching and beam scanning among multiple antenna arrays can be realized, the coverage area of millimeter wave signals of the multiple antenna arrays is increased,and the communication quality of 5G millimeter waves is improved.
