[0513]Polymeric resins are used in the preparation of Reb DEMNO compositions. The resin is a copolymer of N-vinylpyrrolidone (NVP) and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) with an average particle size (volume weighted average) of 60 microns. N-vinylpyrrolidone (NVP) in a 50:50 mass ratio of NVP:EGDMA was stirred at 75°C using lauroyl peroxide as the polymerization initiator and in the presence of cyclohexanol and 1-dodecanol. Regular and diet cola beverages were prepared using the ingredients listed in Table 2. Diet beverages were sweetened with different stevia extracts containing a Reb DEMNO / T13SG ratio of 99.7% or a Reb A / T13SG ratio of 98%, respectively.
