Abstract

The invention provides a Fourier phase hologram generation method based on double-phase encoding. The method comprises two parts of Fourier hologram generation and hologram reconstruction. According to the method, an image is multiplied by a secondary phase, Fourier transform is carried out, a transform result is multiplied by a transfer function, double-phase encoding is carried out, two decomposed pure phase functions are multiplied by two complementary chessboard functions, summation is carried out, and a Fourier hologram is obtained. Compared with a traditional method, the method providedby the invention does not need an iterative process, the hologram generation speed is high, and compared with other non-iterative algorithms, the speed is increased by 33 times; a filtering plane introduced by adopting the method can eliminate the influence of zero-order light of a spatial light modulator on a reconstructed image, and a transfer function can enable the image to be reconstructed atdifferent distances, thereby achieving the three-dimensional display. Finally, both the simulation result and the optical result prove that the quality of the image reconstructed by the method is higher, and the scattered noise is suppressed.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a holographic display technology, in particular to a method for generating a Fourier phase hologram. Background technique [0002] As an ideal true three-dimensional display technology, holographic display has been receiving great attention. Phase holograms have been extensively studied due to their high diffraction efficiency. Usually adding a random phase to an object is to generate a phase hologram Figure 1 However, this method will make the reconstructed image full of random noise and affect the viewing quality. In order to suppress the scattered noise, an iterative algorithm is often used to optimize its phase distribution, but this algorithm is time-consuming, which is not conducive to real-time 3D display. As another method of generating phase holograms, biphase encoding can encode the amplitude information of the hologram into the phase information, so it is considered to be an ideal phase hologram encoding method. ...
