Abstract

The method comprises the steps that the peak temperature is solved, wherein the peak temperature of a nugget area, a heat affected area and a base metal area of the annular resistance spot-welding joint is obtained through a finite element analysis method; material attributes are tested, wherein the material attributes of all the areas are obtained by adopting a thermal cycle simulation and experimental test methodaccording to the peak temperature of all the areas; a mechanical analysis model is established, wherein a finite element model of the annular resistance spot-welding joint is established; the finite element model is endowed with the material attributes, wherein corresponding grids of the finite element model are endowed with the material attributes of the nugget area, the heat affected area and the base metal area; and the mechanical property is solved, wherein accurate prediction of the failure mode and the mechanical property of the annular resistance spot-welding joint is achieved by simulating the experimental process of the mechanical property test through the finite element model.
