Abstract

A display panel comprises: a base substrate including a front surface and a rear surface and including a hole area in which a through-hole penetrating the front surface and the rear surface and a groove portion surrounding the through-hole and recessed from the front surface are defined, an active area surrounding the hole area, and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area; a circuit layer including a first circuit insulating layer disposed on the base substrate, a second circuit insulating layer disposed on the first circuit insulating layer, and a thin film transistor disposed in the active area; a display layer including a first display insulating layer disposed on the circuit layer, a second display insulating layer disposed on the first display insulating layer, and a light-emitting device disposed in the active area and connected to the thin film transistor; a guide pattern disposed on the circuit layer and arranged between the light-emitting device and the groove portion; and an encapsulation layer covering the light-emitting device, and including a first inorganic layer, a second inorganic layer, and an organic layer, wherein the organic layer covers at least a portionof the guide pattern.
