The method has the following advantages and positive effects that 1, an excellent new material for the indoor ornamental plant is provided; 2, the plant has excellent ornamental value and resistance, is not easy to generate diseases and pests, and is simple and easy to cultivate and propagate; 3, under proper cultivation conditions, the pilea basicordata is beautiful in plant type and evergreen throughout the year; and although the flowers are small, the flowers are pink, the amount of flowers is larger, the flowering period can last for about 20 days, and the plant is an excellent foliage and flowering plant.
