Abstract

The invention discloses a moving object detection method and system. The moving object detection method comprises the following steps: dividing a preset image template into a plurality of image blocks with the same size; counting the number of event data included in each image block within a predetermined duration, the event data coming from a dynamic visual sensor and being triggered by relative motion of an object in a field of view and the dynamic visual sensor; determining at least one image block containing a moving object according to the quantity of the event data corresponding to each image block; and based on the determined image block, generating an object candidate frame, wherein the object candidate frame points to the detected moving object. The invention also discloses the corresponding computing equipment.
