Cascode Current Sensor For Discrete Power Semiconductor Devices

A cascode current sensor includes a main MOSFET and a sense MOSFET. The drain terminal of the main MOSFET is connected to a power device whose current is to be monitored, and the source and gate terminals of the main MOSFET are connected to the source and gate terminals, respectively, of the sense MOSFET. The drain voltages of the main and sense MOSFETs are equalized, in one embodiment by using a variable current source and negative feedback. The gate width of the main MOSFET is typically larger than the gate width of the sense MOSFET. Using the size ratio of the gate widths, the current in the main MOSFET is measured by sensing the magnitude of the current in the sense MOSFET. Inserting the relatively large MOSFET in the power circuit minimizes power loss.

Methods and Apparatus for Link Adaptation for Single User and Multi-User Mimo

Methods of performing link adaptation in a wireless communication system for simultaneous transmission of codewords include selecting initial modulation and coding scheme (MCS) levels for the codewords, estimating a size ratio of the codewords, determining a number of scheduling blocks (SB) for the codewords with the initial MCS levels, and determining revised MCS levels for the codewords in response to the determined number of SBs. Transport block sizes are computed for the codewords, and it is determined if there is a need to increase the number of scheduling blocks in at least one of the codewords. If there is a need to increase the number of scheduling blocks in a codeword, scheduling blocks are added to the codeword, and the transport block size for the codeword is recomputed. The codewords are then simultaneously transmitted over different multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) communication channels using the same time and frequency resources.

X-ray imaging device, method for detecting deviation of flat panel detector, and program for the same

An X-ray imaging device includes an X-ray generator, a filter plate detachably attached to an X-ray outlet of the X-ray generator, and a FPD. The filter plate has a plurality of circular markers of different sizes. The smallest marker is disposed at the center of the filter plate. The other markers are disposed on lines radiating from the smallest marker in increasing order of size and at regular intervals. An X-ray radiation beam passes through the markers and patient's body, and is incident upon an imaging surface of the FPD. The FPD produces a preliminary radiographic image from the incident X-ray radiation beam. A deviation vector detector chooses adjoining two marker images of different sizes from the preliminary radiographic image, and identifies to which markers the marker images correspond based on a size ratio. Then, the deviation vector detector determines the center of an X-ray field.

Multi-source remote sensing image registration method

The invention discloses a multi-source remote sensing image registration method which is characterized in that size ratio of multi-source remote sensing images is considered, target images and source images are respectively subjected to appropriate partitioning processing, surface (SURF) feature points are subjected to partitioning detection and matching, areas of interest (ROI) are determined, the ROI are matched according to a certain strategy, extraction is carried out according to the partitioning image matching condition, and finally the integral matching relation of the target image and the source image is obtained. The multi-source remote sensing image registration method had the advantages that quadrant division is achieved through detection and matching of a few of partitioned SURF feature points, accordingly the ROI of images are determined, and the purpose of improving registration efficiency is achieved by combining direction selection and feature point number threshold screening. Simultaneously, error rate of the original SURF feature matching is reduced by determining the radiation transformation relationship of the maximum matching points and image partitions serving as the original images.

The invention relates to a vibration response simulation analyzing method for a rolling bearing with single-point failures. On the basis of a Hertz contact theory, related knowledge about kinematics and kinetics are utilized to establish a five-degree-of-freedom nonlinear vibration mode of a rolling bearing and kinetic differential equations of the rolling bearing while influencing factors like slipping of rolling balls, oil slick rigidity and the like are taken into consideration, according to that the rolling balls change due to contact deformation is caused when the rolling balls roll through partial failures, a partial failure model of the rolling bearing is introduced into the kinetic differential equations of the rolling bearing, and the single-point failures of the rolling bearing are classified according to length-width ratios of the failures and size ratios between the failures and the rolling balls so as to establish different failure shape functions; the differential equations are solved by an ode solver in MATLAB (matrix laboratory) software, and vibration responses of the rolling bearing are simulated when an inner ring, an outer ring and the rolling balls of the rolling bearing are suffered from the single-point failures. By the aid of the vibration response simulation analyzing method, vibration responses of the bearings with failures in different sizes can be simulated.
