The method comprises the steps that: an ECU receives a diagnosis configuration code sent by diagnosis equipment; the ECU judges whether a value of the diagnosis configuration code is within a preset range or not according to a preset rule; if so, the ECU sends a negative response code to the diagnosis equipment; if not, the ECU sends a positive response code to the diagnosis equipment, obtains a CAN bus node signal of a vehicle corresponding to the diagnosis configuration code, compares a CAN bus node signal with the diagnosis configuration code, preliminarily judges that the diagnosis configuration code is written correctly if the CAN bus node signal is consistent with the diagnosis configuration code, and judges that the diagnosis configuration code is written wrongly if the CAN bus node signal is not consistent with the diagnosis configuration code; and if the diagnosis configuration code is preliminarily judged to be written correctly, whether the diagnosis configuration code is consistent with customized vehicle type configuration information is checked.
