Abstract

The invention provides an intelligent measurement method and system for carotid artery intima-media thickness. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an ultrasonic image of a carotid artery; identifying carotid artery blood vessels in the ultrasonic image by adopting a blood vessel identification model; adopting a contour recognition model to recognize the initial contour of the intima-media membrane of the carotid artery blood vessel; processing the initial contour to obtain a target contour of the intima-media membrane, wherein the target contour comprises a first edge curve formed by connecting lines of first boundary points between the intima and the lumen of the blood vessel, and a second edge curve formed by connecting lines of second boundary points between the intima-media and the adventitia of the blood vessel; obtaining the maximum distance between the first edge curve and the second edge curve, taking a first boundary point corresponding to the maximum distance as a first target point, and taking a second boundary point corresponding to the maximum distance as a second target point; taking a connecting line between the first target point and the second target point as a reference line, and intercepting a contour section containing the first target point and the second target point in the target contour; and calculating the average distance between the first edge curve and the second edge curve in the contour section as the thickness of the intima-media membrane. The measurement efficiency is improved, and the measurement effect is stable.
