Problems solved by technology

However, the durability of electrodes formed by such methods is difficult
This is because, when the vehicle is running, the strain of the relatively large tire is repeated at a high cycle, and due to the severe usage conditions inherent in such tires, the peeling and cracking of the electrodes are likely to occur.

no. 1 Embodiment approach

[0024] figure 1 It is a schematic diagram of the piezoelectric tire of the first embodiment. This piezoelectric tire 1A is mounted on an automobile and can be widely applied to various vehicles such as motorcycles and bicycles, although the shape and size vary. Like a normal tire, the piezoelectric tire 1A has a tire main body 2 formed of an elastic body such as rubber as a main body, and a piezoelectric part 3 and a circuit unit 4 are added thereto.

[0025] The piezoelectric unit 3 is provided on the back surface of the ground contact portion of the tire body 2 , and generates electric power corresponding to strain generated on the ground contact surface of the tire body 2 . The piezoelectric unit 3 has a pair of electrodes arranged up and down, and a piezoelectric film interposed between the pair of electrodes. In the present embodiment, as the piezoelectric portion 3 , a piezoelectric portion coated on the inner surface of the tire main body 2 , that is, a coating type p...

no. 2 Embodiment approach

[0043] In the second embodiment, a description will be given of a piezoelectric tire in which a plurality of piezoelectric portions 3 of the first embodiment are arranged. Figure 7 It is a schematic diagram of the piezoelectric tire of the second embodiment. In addition, the same code|symbol is attached|subjected to the same component as 1st Embodiment, and description here is abbreviate|omitted.

[0044] This piezoelectric tire 1B has a plurality of piezoelectric portions 3 a to 3 c provided on the back surface of the ground portion of the tire main body 2 . These piezoelectric parts 3 a to 3 c have a predetermined shape, and generate electric power corresponding to strain generated in the ground contact surface of the tire main body 2 . By arranging a plurality of piezoelectric parts 3 a to 3 c at intervals, the overall power generation amount (output voltage) can be increased. In addition, in this embodiment, three piezoelectric parts 3 a to 3 c are arranged, but the num...

Abstract

Provided is a piezoelectric tire in which peeling and cracking of electrodes constituting piezoelectric elements are suppressed, and durability of the piezoelectric tire is improved. A piezoelectric tire (1A) is provided with a tire main body (2), a coating-type piezoelectric part (3), and a circuit unit (4). The coating type piezoelectric part (3) is coated on the tire main body (2) and generates electric power corresponding to strain generated on the ground contact surface of the tire main body (2). The circuit unit (4) is provided in the tire main body (2) and is driven by the power generated by the coating-type piezoelectric part (3). A coating-type piezoelectric part is used as the piezoelectric part (3), and the piezoelectric part (3) is in close contact with the tire main body (2), so that peeling and cracking of electrodes constituting the piezoelectric part (3) can be suppressed. As a result, the durability of the piezoelectric tire (1A) is improved without compromising the ability to follow the strain of the tire main body (2).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a piezoelectric tire that generates electric power corresponding to the strain of the tire's contact patch. Background technique [0002] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a tire having a power generating device. This power generation device has a plurality of power generation elements and an electric storage device. Each power generating element has two stretchable electrodes and an elastic polymer compound (dielectric elastomer) sandwiched between them. The elastic polymer compound generates a potential difference between the electrodes based on the strain generated in the tire. The accumulator stores the electric energy generated by the power generating element. The plurality of power generating elements are arranged on at least one side surface inside the tire on a circumference centered on the rotation axis. The length in the circumferential direction of each power generating element is set so that the s...
