Abstract

The invention provides an automatic detection system for the contour and defect of a flattened heat pipe. The automatic detection system comprises a rack, a hopper device, a carrying device, a conveying device, a thickness measuring device, a contour detection device, a defect detection device and a control system. Firstly, a flattened heat pipe is placed on a lifting plate of a hopper device, a lead screw module moves upwards until a sensor on a photoelectric switch support outputs a detection signal, and a mechanical arm moves to the position above the hopper device, sucks one heat pipe, then moves to the middle of a laser range finder of a thickness measuring device to complete thickness measurement and then moves to the position above a rotary disc to complete thickness measurement. The electric index plate conveys the heat pipes to the position under the contour detection device and the defect detection device for detection, and the mechanical arm carries the corresponding heat pipes to the hopper device used for collecting standard samples and substandard samples according to output results.
