Abstract

The invention relates to automatic creation and execution of a test kit for a workflow. More specifically, a computer-implemented method of a test kit for automatically creating and executing a workflow is disclosed, comprising: creating a workflow package, the workflow package comprising a version identification and a workflow graph definition; and creating the workflow instance as a copy of the workflow packet. The workflow instance is executed to generate output data, and the output data is saved into the workflow instance. The workflow instance is saved as a test profile along with the output data. Testing one or more components of the updated workflow package using the test profile; and outputting an indication of the pass or failure of the test of the updated workflow packet.
