Embodiment 1 and comparative example 1

[0091] The first in-pouch formulation, the intermediate treatment and the second in-pouch formulation were prepared separately and used in the restoration of extremely frizzy hair described below, and the results were rated.

[0092] Preparation X in the first packaging bag [add 2-sodium naphthalenesulfonate (2-NSA) 〕

[0094] Monoethanolamine thioglycolate (50wt.%) 14.0

[0095] Monoethanolamine Sufficient (pH adjusted to 9)

[0103] Preparation Y in the first packaging bag [without 2-NSA]

[0104] No 2-NSA was added to Formulation X in the first pouch, which was equilibrated with purified water.

[0105] Intermediate treatment X [Add 2-NSA]

Embodiment 1-G to 1-I

[0156] After the hair samples were respectively treated with the conditions of Examples 1-F to 1-I, they were washed 7 times repeatedly, and it was observed that some hairs returned to the natural curly state. The hair samples were treated with a composition identical to the formulation of Intermediate Treatment X as a post-treatment at 1.5 times the weight of the hair sample. After leaving the post-treatment on the hair for 30 minutes at room temperature, the hair was rinsed and dried. Their restoration effects were evaluated from the appearance of the hair. In all experiments, the hair swatches of Examples 1-F to 1-I proved to return substantially straight hair shortly after aftertreatment.

Embodiment 2 and comparative example 2

[0158] The first in-pouch formulation Y, the intermediate treatment X and the second in-pouch formulation Y were used in Example 1, the following intermediate treatment Z and the second in-pouch formulation Z were used in the extremely frizzy hair restoration process described below It has been applied and graded for its repair effect.

[0159] Intermediate treatment Z [Add 2-NSA, no buffer capacity]

[0160] Prepare an intermediate treatment spiked with 2-NSA but without buffering capacity. This treatment substantially corresponds to the formulation of the intermediate treatment of Example 3 in JP-A-07101840.

Abstract

A method of treating the hair which comprises the following step (A) or (B) and shaping the hair at least once during the step. Step (A): A first agent containing a reducing agent and a second agent containing an oxidizing agent and having a buffering ability and a pH of 1 to 5 are successively applied to the hair, and the hair is then washed with water and dried (the first or second agent contains an organic acid (A) or a salt thereof). Step (B): A first agent containing a reducing agent, an intermediate treating agent having a buffering ability and a pH of 1 to 5, and a second agent containing an oxidizing agent are successively applied to the hair, and the hair is then washed with water and dried (the first agent or intermediate treating agent contains an organic acid (A) or a salt thereof). Organic acid (A): A compound comprising either a nonaromatic hydrophobic group having a total carbon number of 3 to 11 or an aromatic hydrophobic group having a total carbon number of 4 to 18 and an acid group such as a sulfo or sulfate group. The method is extremely highly effective in straightening the curly hair through a simple procedure comparable to that of an ordinary permanent straightening treatment. After the treatment, the straightened state can be restored or maintained by daily aftercare without damaging the hair.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The present invention relates to a method for repairing extremely curly hair by restoring hair keratin, a method for maintaining or maintaining the repaired hairstyle, and a preparation used in these methods. Background technique: [0002] In order to straighten naturally curly or extremely curly hair, many salons or similar specialty shops try a variety of methods for restoring extremely frizzy hair. These methods include what is known as "perm straightening". This method is to apply the electric hair straightening agent containing hair keratin reduction in the first packaging bag on the curly hair and fix the hair into a straight hair state, then keep this hairstyle for a certain period of time, and wash the first packaging bag with water. Rinse out the hair straightener in the sachet and then re-treat the hair with the oxidizing agent in the second sachet. The advantage of this method is that it is relatively simple and convenient, but the disadv...
