Problems solved by technology

In this case, the hydrophilicity of the coating film becomes sufficient and enhances the antifouling property after a considerable period of time, especially half a year from the start, but it is difficult to provide antifouling property at the initial use

Embodiment 1

[0061] In this example, Scotch film 3650CF available from Sumitomo 3M Co. Ltd. was used as a substrate having an adhesive layer for producing an adhesive sheet. The substrate is formed of a vinyl chloride film.

[0062] On the substrate, a base coating containing the first hydrophilic antifouling agent was coated with a knife coater and dried at 120° C. for 3 minutes to form a 3 μm thick base layer adhered to the surface of the substrate.

[0063] The base paint is prepared by mixing a paint containing an inorganic oxide type hydrophilic antifouling agent (Bell Clean Clear No.5000 available from Nippon Oil & Fat Co., Ltd.) and a curing agent paint (containing a polyfunctional isocyanate compound) . The mixing ratio of the coating material containing the inorganic oxide type antifouling agent (46% by weight of non-volatile content): the coating material of curing agent (70% by weight of non-volatile content) was 65:35 (weight ratio). A paint containing an inorganic oxide type...

Embodiment 2

[0082] In this example, Scorch Film 3650 CF available from Sumitomo 3M Co. Ltd. was used as a substrate having an adhesive layer for producing an adhesive sheet. The substrate is formed of a vinyl chloride film. On the substrate, a protective film coating was applied with a knife coater and dried at 120°C for 3 minutes to form a 3 µm thick base protective film adhered to the surface of the substrate, thereby obtaining an adhesive sheet.

[0083] Protective film paint is made of coating containing inorganic oxide type hydrophilic antifouling agent (available from Nippon Oil & Fat Co., Ltd. Bell Clean Clear No.5000), surface exudation type hydrophilic antifouling agent (available from Nippon Oil & Fat Co., Ltd.) GH-100 from Daikin Industries, Ltd.) and curing agent coating (containing polyfunctional isocyanate compound). Coating containing inorganic oxide type antifouling agent (non-volatile matter content is 46% by weight): surface exudation type antifouling agent (non-volatil...

Embodiment 3

[0101] An adhesive sheet was produced roughly as described in Example 2, except that the coating material containing the inorganic oxide type antifouling agent: the surface exudation type antifouling agent: the curing agent (with a non-volatile matter content of 70% by weight) The mixing ratio became 81:2:17 (weight ratio). Table 3 shows the results of the same test performed on the obtained PSA sheet.

Abstract

The present invention is to provide a stain resistant film that shows excellent stain resistance in a long period of time immediate after forming the film, which exhibits stain resistance in initial use (within one month after forming the film) and keeps the resistance from reduction thereof with time. A stain resistant protective film comprising (a) a base layer formed from a film-forming resin and containing a hydrophilic stain resistant agent therein, and (b) a surface layer containing another hydrophilic stain resistant agent at least, remaining on the periphery of the surface, formed on the base layer (a).

Description

field of invention [0001] The present invention relates to an antifouling protective film and an adhesive sheet having the antifouling protective film on one surface. The adhesive sheet can be adhered to an object used outdoors, such as a wall or window of a building, a car body, an aircraft body, or a ship hull, so as to prevent the object from staining, dust, and the like. Background of the invention [0002] Items intended for outdoor use have a protective film or an adhesive sheet with this protective film on the surface to keep the surface free from heavy contamination and keep it looking good. The protective film is generally formed of a waterproof synthetic resin, or a material containing a fluorine-containing substance or a silicon-containing substance to enhance waterproofness. However, it has been reported that materials with water resistance have the following disadvantages: [0003] (1) In the case of hydrophilic dirt (such as dirt, sand, dust, etc.), the prote...
