Abstract

The invention discloses a laser beam generating device for a laser scanning unit, comprising: a laser diode; a collimating lens used to convert the laser beam emitted by the laser diode into parallel light; a collimator lens holder on the optical axis; a base for mounting the laser diode and the collimator lens holder thereon; and a supporting device formed on the base to temporarily fix the collimator lens holder. Since the UV adhesive is supplemented by a special tool to temporarily fix the collimating lens holder in the alignment position, assembly errors are prevented even though the volume of the UV adhesive changes while hardening, thereby improving productivity and goods quality.
