Embodiment 1

[0406] Ultrapure water (resistivity: 18 MΩ·cm or more) was added to the components described below to make 1 liter, and the mixture was stirred for 1 hour while heating at 30 to 40°C. Then, the resulting mixture was subjected to vacuum filtration using a microfilter having an average pore size of 0.25 μm to prepare black ink Bk-101.

Abstract

To provide an inkjet black ink having excellent image durability and ink discharge properties and an ink set, the inkjet black ink, which contains a dye having a [lambada]max of from 500 nm to 700 nm and a half-band width of 100 nm or more in an absorption spectrum of a diluted solution standardized at an absorbance of 1.0 at the [lambada]max, has the change ratio of absorbance at the [lambada]max in the visible region, specified in the specification; and the inkjet ink set containing at least two black inks having different densities has the relationship among the at least two black inks, specified in the specification.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a black ink for inkjet recording having excellent image durability and an ink set including the black ink. Background technique [0002] In recent years, with the popularization of computers, inkjet printers have been widely used not only in offices but also in homes for printing on paper, films, fabrics, and the like. [0003] Inkjet recording methods include systems in which ink droplets are discharged by applying pressure using a piezoelectric element; systems in which ink droplets are discharged by generating air bubbles in ink using heat; systems using ultrasonic waves; and systems in which ink droplets are discharged by suction by electrostatic force. As for the ink composition used for such inkjet recording, aqueous ink, oil-based ink or solid (melt type) ink is used. Among these inks, water-based inks are mainstream in consideration of production, handling properties, odor, safety and other properties. [0004...
