Dialysate regeneration system and dialysis equipment

The invention discloses a dialysate regeneration system and dialysis equipment, the dialysate regeneration system comprises a waste liquid passage, a slow flow box, an electromagnetic valve, a reactor and an adsorption mechanism, the waste liquid passage is in through connection with the slow flow box, the slow flow box is connected with the reactor through a pipeline, and the pipeline is provided with the electromagnetic valve. The fixing amount of a urease layer is increased through the treatment film with the three cambered surfaces, the urea decomposition efficiency is improved, the diffusion path of toxins on the treatment film is shortened, meanwhile, the treatment film with the cambered surface structure can guide dialysis waste liquid entering the reactor to generate local turbulence, and the toxins are prevented from being accumulated on the surface of the treatment film; the dialyzer is arranged, the micro horse is started to drive the hollow fiber to rotate, the material exchange efficiency of blood and dialysate is improved, and the situation that protein and cells are deposited on the surface of the hollow fiber, and the service life of the hollow fiber is shortened is avoided.

Sorbent for a dialysis device and dialysis system

The invention relates to a sorbent for removing metabolic waste products from a dialysis liquid, the sorbent comprising a soluble source of sodium ions. The sorbent comprises an ion exchange system which converts urea to ammonium ions and which is configured to exchange ammonium ions for predominantly hydrogen ions and to exchange Ca, Mg, and K for predominantly sodium ions. The soluble source of sodium ions overcomes an initial drop in sodium concentration in regenerated dialysate. When used in conjunction with an infusion system configured to utilise exchange of Ca, Mg and K for sodium during dialysate regeneration a desired sodium ion concentration can be maintained.

System and method for peritoneal dialysis exchange with reusable activation unit

To provide a system and a method for receiving peritoneal dialysis treatment without holding unused dialysis solution in a walk-in type facility.SOLUTION: The facility receives the peritoneal dialysis prescription from the patient, validates the prescription, determines the appropriate treatment for the patient, provides the patient with the appropriate dialysis solution in the appropriate amount, and administers the dialysis treatment to the patient at the facility. The facility monitors the patient's home dialysis treatment and adjusts the patient's treatment. The facility produces the dialysis solution on demand by manufacturing the solution from solution components according to the patient's prescription. The facility uses a sorbent system to regenerate effluent dialysis solution into fresh dialysis solution. One embodiment of a peritoneal dialysis system includes a fill container and an actuation unit removably receiving the fill container and including a sterilization source constructed and arranged relative to the fill container when received by the actuation unit to place fluid therein in a physiologically safe condition for delivery to the peritoneal cavity of a patient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A
